It is an inhaled corticosteroid (preventer) used for the regular control and prevention of asthma symptoms, reducing inflammation and swelling in the airways and helping prevent wheezing, coughing and breathlessness.
It is for oral inhalation only and should be used regularly as prescribed; it is not intended for rapid relief of an acute asthma attack.
