Description
Tanzol 400 mg is an antiparasitic medicine containing albendazole, used to treat certain intestinal worm infections. It works by interfering with the worms’ ability to absorb nutrients, helping eliminate susceptible parasites from the body.
It may be used to treat roundworm, pinworm, hookworm and whipworm infections, as well as certain other parasitic infections when prescribed. The required dose depends on the type of worm infection and the patient’s age. Tanzol treats susceptible worm infections but does not prevent all future infections, so hygiene and appropriate sanitation remain important.
