Description
Aurocrom 2% w/v is a cromolyn sodium (sodium cromoglicate) eye drop used for the prevention and symptomatic treatment of allergic eye conditions.
Cromolyn sodium is a mast-cell stabiliser. It helps prevent the release of substances involved in allergic reactions, making it useful for symptoms such as itchy eyes, eye redness, watering, irritation and allergic conjunctivitis. It may be used for seasonal allergies such as hay fever and other allergy-related eye symptoms.
