Description
Lubtear is a lubricating artificial tear eye drop containing Dextran 70 USP 0.1% and Hypromellose USP 0.3%. The combination helps retain moisture on the eye surface and slows evaporation of the tear film.
It is used for symptomatic relief of dry eyes, burning eyes, itchy or irritated eyes, grittiness and ocular discomfort associated with deficient tear or mucous secretion. It also provides ocular lubrication and protection against further irritation and may help prevent corneal damage associated with keratoconjunctivitis.
