Description
TETRACYCLINE is USED for treatment of susceptible bacterial infections of the eye. Each gram contains 10 mg of tetracycline hydrochloride, with a sterile ophthalmic base.
Tetracycline eye ointment may be used for superficial bacterial eye infections including bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharitis and bacterial keratitis. Tetracycline ophthalmic preparations are also used in the management of trachoma caused by Chlamydia trachomatis
