Description
Brufen 400 mg contains ibuprofen 400 mg, an NSAID that provides pain relief, reduces inflammation and lowers fever. It can be used for mild to moderate pain such as headache, migraine, toothache, menstrual cramps, backache, muscular pain and pain associated with sprains and strains. It is also used for inflammatory conditions including osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Ibuprofen works by reducing the production of prostaglandins, substances involved in pain, inflammation and fever. Brufen should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary duration.
