Description
Aldactone 25mg Tablets contain Spironolactone 25mg per tablet, a potassium-sparing diuretic and aldosterone antagonist.
It is used to treat oedema/fluid retention, heart failure and certain cases of hypertension, and may also be used for conditions associated with excess aldosterone.
Spironolactone increases sodium and water excretion while helping retain potassium, so potassium levels and kidney function should be monitored during treatment.
