Description
Hydrochlorothiazide 50mg Tablets contain Hydrochlorothiazide 50mg per tablet, a thiazide diuretic. It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and fluid retention (oedema) by increasing the excretion of excess sodium and water through the kidneys.
It should be used as prescribed, with monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function and electrolytes where appropriate.
