Flatameal-DS Suspension 200ml is a sugar-free antacid and anti-flatulent medicine used for symptomatic relief of excess stomach acid, heartburn, indigestion and trapped gas.
Each 5ml contains:
Aluminium oxide 200mg, equivalent to aluminium hydroxide gel USP.
Magnesium hydroxide BP 400mg.
Simethicone USP 30mg.
The aluminium and magnesium compounds help neutralize excess stomach acid, while simethicone helps relieve gas, bloating and abdominal distension. The product information also lists gastritis, dyspepsia and symptoms associated with gastric and duodenal ulcers among its uses.
