Ubamic Tranexamic Acid 500 mg Tablets are an oral medicine containing tranexamic acid, an antifibrinolytic agent that helps prevent blood clots from breaking down too quickly. This helps the body control excessive bleeding.
Tranexamic acid may be prescribed for heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia) and certain other bleeding conditions. Whether it is appropriate depends on the cause of the bleeding and the patient’s medical history. Ubamic is not a painkiller and does not treat every cause of abnormal menstrual bleeding.
